Jack It Up

A jacket can make or break an outfit. It's the first thing people see, and an attempt at a good first impression. This might explain why 80% of my closet is jackets. Winnie, my very good friend from Winnie&Marcus, is an amazing fashion designer from Parsons; I've borrowed a couple of her leather jackets that she designed to show you that sometimes an outstanding jacket is really all you need. If you don't like to dish out on clothes, invest in those jackets! Here are some cropped pieces to illustrate the contrast between an edgy look vs. a classier look. I'm all about cropped jackets for spring, especially if you're going for a more feminine look.

On a more serious note, my sincere condolences and prayers go out to those in Boston. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." -Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.

Big thanks to Winnie for being my photographer for the day!

Jam of the Day:

Rome - Phoenix (my favorite song from their album, Wolfgang Amadeus)

They killed it at Coachella (so I've been told), wish I could have gotten to see them live!
